The Spirit Of Fun...
This morning I ran in the Park, only a short run... The day was bright and autumn sunny - I returned to a solitary breakfast, as Anadi had left early for an all day meeting....
It is a joy to see my clients, to spend time together exploring life, exploring themselves, and finding ways forward to live life with more joy, freedom and fulfilment.
'Darling have fun'
My mothers legacy to me, and it turns out to many who cross my path...
The spirit of fun...
I was 'worrying' about my O level results
'Darling don't worry' my mother said to me 'I haven't got an exam to my name and I've had a wonderful life...'
We can always deal with the moment we are in... When we know this, we will stay right in it, and not worry about the next one, nor the ones that have passed us by...
Easy words to write I realise, but living this way changes everything...
The richness and privilege of being in people's lives in the way I am, is demonstrated by the courage I am witnessing in my days here at Buxted...
I am seeing people deal with difficult things and stretch to find out how to go forward in new ways, and embrace life in different ways... Healing from the pain that loss and change can access...
Knowing that we can deal with anything comes through seeing when we are experiencing something hard, that there is nothing to be done, but live it... It is in the living of whatever is in front of us that we find we can deal with anything at all...
However, often we do not know this, and so we need another soul to hold our hand, to guide us, to uncover the latent skills and access the inner strength...
We can all support one another in showing the way, finding the peace within and the truth of each moment ...
The more we know this, the more we will relax and find there is not so much to deal with after all... Even when life is challenging...
If the mind is relaxed even the difficult stuff is not so difficult...
And collectively, in each interaction, whenever we share with someone we can remind one another that we are never alone...
We can become more accustomed to staying in touch with the still place within; the place where peace, stillness and inner happiness reside.
Where we know that happiness is not dependent on anything outside us, it is within us always, in this place of relaxation and still truthful love...
And knowing this, we find ourselves in a better place to make decisions, to know the way forward, to open to new possibilities, a new vision when the old one may have crashed and burned and left us desolate and afraid...
There is another way...
My time with people is often about helping another take the next step and find that new way that they cannot yet see themselves...
